This stunningly flavoursome honey is harvested from the coastal rainforests located in the North Island central plateau of New Zealand. Kamahi honey is pale and buttery golden colour and has a smooth creamy texture and distinctive lanolin aroma.  It is a honey of outstanding quality and revered by chefs for its unique flavour. A beautiful addition to your food, that can be the base to sweet sauces, a light glaze or used plain drizzled onto pancakes.

Kamahi honey is also an ideal sweetener for spicy dishes, such as Thai food, as it has a flavour slightly reminiscent of palm sugar. On the cheeseboard it proves an excellent match for white mould cheeses such as Camembert and Brie or more robust cheese such as a goat’s milk feta.
